How much fun can one woman handle?
Hoo boy it's a busy time (not to mention expensive!) but milestones should be celebrated. It's important to reflect on where we've been and how far we've come. Because our lives are full of so much stuff and busyness and time goes so quickly, our celebrations force us to pause and remind us to commemorate the meaningful, significant and special events that occur in a life.

I have a few days to rest and catch up before the next round of good times start up this weekend. Maybe I'll even have time to weed the garden.
What are you celebrating?
Just quietly celebrating alone in my heart that my son arrived In Country last Thursday (NC) from Afghanistan...! ;-} I heard his voice for a few minutes on Sat. evening. ;-}
ReplyDeleteI'm rejoicing with you and thanking God for his safe return. I hope you'll have a chance to see him soon.
DeleteYay, Lynden!
DeleteI'm celebrating the fact that my elderly parents are not currently ill or in the hospital. It's been a good 3 month stretch, and I'm grateful! You ARE one busy gal!
ReplyDeleteMare, that's a great reason to celebrate. The last 6-7 years I have spent a lot of time with many elderly people and their lives are often consumed with doctor visits and hospital trips. The fact that your parents are doing well is a huge blessing.
DeleteYou've had a busy month. Things are quiet where I am. Last year was event-filled, but this year not.

I needed your post tonight. I was feeling tired and cranky from all the end of the school year parties and recitals; but they are worth celebrating and enjoying! I'll sleep in 2 weeks. :)
