About Me

I am at a turning point in my life with 3 young men in college and my newly-married daughter.

Exploring the transitions all of us face is the focus of Transitional-Woman, sometimes with a little bit of humor, sometimes with tears.

I am a writer, editor, former homeschooler, homemaker and a few other things too.

I have a terrific husband who has put up with me with great love, patience and grace for 27 years and we've been blessed with kids who are definitely smarter and nicer than their mother.

A few random facts: People with a great sense of humor are some of my favorite people in the world, I love all things chocolate, love knitting but am excruciatingly slow, am addicted to Doctor Who and my favorite song is Shout by the Isley Brothers.

  2. Thanks for visiting my blog today. I just married off my first born in June. I also have an 18yo son at home, as well as a 12yo girl and 9yo son. I have children in many stages. I work full time and just began homeschooling my 12yo. Life is full of transitions and I am thankful that I get to walk with the Lord through them all!
