It's wonderful that they're growing up, but things will never be the way they were and that is a little bit sad.Elizabethhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05512195350501287945noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1145927514108811253.post-43867600762315045992012-10-09T20:40:15.874-04:002012-10-09T20:40:15.874-04:00Isn't the house just too quiet?Isn't the house just too quiet?Elizabethhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05512195350501287945noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1145927514108811253.post-51641002260218670692012-10-09T20:39:49.604-04:002012-10-09T20:39:49.604-04:00Betty, were your family missionaries?Betty, were your family missionaries?Elizabethhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05512195350501287945noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1145927514108811253.post-87700930338403347302012-10-09T11:07:29.564-04:002012-10-09T11:07:29.564-04:00I too grieved too when our two went to college, mo...I too grieved too when our two went to college, more with our first though because she struggled so. Our son loved the newness of poeple, things to do, except home work, ha. Both spent their high school years in Bolivia, South America at a missionary school, one was eager to go to college, the other wasn't.

It is good he got to be there early to figure out some things before the rush. Good post. It's supposed to change as they grow, but there is a finality when they go away for school. I prayed a lot! Here's hoping your son has a wonderful, productive college experience. :-) Marianne (Mare) Baker Ballhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03663143060069193124noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1145927514108811253.post-38520393007170874832012-10-08T08:58:47.780-04:002012-10-08T08:58:47.780-04:00I feel your "loss" if only a teeny-tiny ...I feel your "loss" if only a teeny-tiny bit. My youngest went to kindergarten and on the one day of the week I don't work and it's a school day, it's just so quiet around the house.
