The Question is....

...will the turkey thaw in time? 

You know how it is, I sort of forgot to buy a turkey last week and then I was really busy this weekend and suddenly yesterday morning I realized that if we were going to have turkey on Thanksgiving I had better buy one NOW unless we wanted to deal with a frozen hunk of turkey on Thursday morning.


And you might say, "Well, why not just buy a fresh one?"   Because, of course, the frozen turkeys were about 1/4 the price of fresh. 
 And I do not pass up bargains.
